Us Weekly Redesign

Design for—a celebrity news site that averages 30 million page views per month.

Wenner Media

UI, UX, Prototyping

The homepage has two layouts depending on the size of ad unit being served. Shorter, 300x250 ads allow videos to play inline, while 300x600 ads push the video to the left and resize the cards above.

Article Page

The Us Weekly article page features an infinite scroll reading experience. A progress bar and reading queue was designed below the nav so users were aware of the stories below. It was important to make sure the transition from story to story was seamless yet easy to understand. In version 2, users would be able to remove stories they were not interested in from the reading queue.
